Apparently it is a bug..... go figure. The advanced menu for joysticks only appears in the EPTU universe, it won't appear on the main menu or in AC. I was able to confirm that it will show up in the 3.23 EPTU-PU. Guess I will set up the majority of the profile in 3.22 and then fine tune it in...

Anyone else notice that the joystick profiles, both custom and "generic", are missing from the 3.23 EPTU build. Not sure if it is something with my system missing files or if they really are not there.

I was able to get it to work. They added a couple more layers of options/sliders to it that can make it not work correctly. Apparently adding layers of complexity to simple systems that worked fine how they were are part of this new patch.

Finally got all my virpil component set up on my flight sim seat. Got worried when I couldn't get the joystick to work: ended up being I selected the wrong version of grip and needed to switch it and get the profile saved with the correct one. Finished the rough wiring, think I will switch to 3d...

I'm still trying to decide if I want to completely customize the profile or get something already set up.

My Virpil components should be here in a couple of days. Went with a joystick for right, throttle and a command pad for left and rudder pedals. Have a good idea of the basic setup I am going to use, then will add extra stuff as it comes up.

I had a BMM, but decided to go with something else since it didn't seem like it would be around for quite a while. I am also starting to look at it from the "how am I going to find enough people to man this ship", like I did with the Orion that I did want to get.

I could see a snare, teamed up with an EMP with a good range, a very effective system. EMP would need to stay so that the snare ship is outside its sphere of influence.

Anyone else notice the 5? (think it was 5) cargo bays on the lower section of the Carrack that are set up a lot like the caterpillar's, except for the fact you can't use the damn things because there are no doors. I really hope they finally fix this because that is a lot of wasted space that...
