    Looking at the Anvil Asgard

I get it. Germany and Japan didn't have the luxury of being able to bring their best pilots home. And while I'm not disparaging Russian pilots but Soviet planes of the day were absolute crap. I was just noting why, even with the differences in how to count a kill, American numbers are lower.

I'm also curious how you get a prisoner from the G-Loc bar or MacIntyre & Victor's Bar to the spaceport, onto your ship and to the station that accepts pods. Do you have to take the Tram?

More like a "jeep carrier" from WWII. They used those to transport Army Air Corps planes to combat zones, loading them by crane since they couldn't land on carriers. They also transported PT boats by cargo ships, under most circumstances because the PT Boats lacked the range to get anywhere.

The idea that ground vehicles are invulnerable to turrets, and have places, outside, that space ships can't go, is just absurd. It is only there to sell Ground Vehicles. The Hawk should be able to go everywhere an Ursa can go, except underground.

The difference was that the US, normally, sent you home after about 26 to train the next generation of fighter pilots. German pilots had no place to go. It is why US fighter pilots got better during hte war but German and Japanese pilots wound up with insufficient training and less and less...

Oh, I agree that the Asgard is definitely aesthetically better than the Connie. I just don't like it as much as the Redeemer. If there is a way to use the Andromeda, properly, for Bounty Hunting in Bounty Hunting 2.0, and I decide to get one, my Zeus MR will become the Connie. But I still don't...

For me the Liberator is a way for us to move our base of operations or go long range bounty hunting with our Hawks. It can also be used to resupply an Idris with fighters.

Richard Bong was a World War II Fighter Pilot that flew P-38s. He is the US Ace of Aces. I named the character after him, but then changed it to Quinton McHale (As in McHale's Navy). Vanguard and Retaliator. :)

We're thinking more Killjoys than Mandalorians.

The Paladin has Zero SCU of Cargo and can't carry an Ursa. It is completely useless for my purpose. Solo capable isn't part of the calculation for me. I have a Liberator. It is a bit large for the mission. It can carry three ground vehicles up to Nova in size plus two Hawks, Sabres or...

I have ships for solo, my wife and I each have a Hawk, and a Sabre, I also have an Eclipse. We also each have a Vanguard Warden (mine has a Sentinel BUK) and a Cutlass Blue. I have a Zeus MR and she has a Mercury Star Runner. I have a Liberator, Redeemer and a Retaliator. Multi-crew ships are...

    Looking at the Anvil Asgard

Now, I prefer the Deemer aesthetics to the flying brick that is the Valkyrie/Asgard. The Redeemer currently fills a hole in my fleet between the crew of 3 Zeus Mk II MR and the crew 6-7 Retaliator. I don't want to go too far up in price range in case CIG finally gets around to the next two tiers...

The Deemer started life as an MSR in a LTI Scoundrel Pack.

Can't go from a Redeemer to an Andromeda. An Andromeda can't carry prisoner pods plus an Ursa. As much as I want to like the Connies, I just don't.
