"Chasing Sunsets": Our team's (Arts&Crafts) entry into CIG's Tumbril Cyclone Commercial contest

Thanks Seung! Thank you so much Scape Ha. We are still shocked we got first. We were convinced Ajax/Palpy would take it.

"Chasing Sunsets": Our team's (Arts&Crafts) entry into CIG's Tumbril Cyclone Commercial contest

I think it DID work in the very beginning but was removed before it actually went to the LIVE servers. I honestly didn't test it during the making of this video... it's possible it is working again. But the last time I checked (a few weeks ago), people in my party weren't seeing my facial...

"Chasing Sunsets": Our team's (Arts&Crafts) entry into CIG's Tumbril Cyclone Commercial contest

I appreciate the offer for FOIP help but I'm pretty sure FOIP is still only client-side. For example, if you smile, I don't see it on my screen. Only you see your FOIP stuff UNLESS it's on the comms video call.

"Chasing Sunsets": Our team's (Arts&Crafts) entry into CIG's Tumbril Cyclone Commercial contest

Oh nice! Yeah, I'm pulling this off with a Logitech C615 that I bought three years ago. Perhaps it's time for an upgrade.

"Chasing Sunsets": Our team's (Arts&Crafts) entry into CIG's Tumbril Cyclone Commercial contest

Thanks!! Thanks man! FOIP is still VERY rough and hard to work with. But in small, quick cuts, it can be incredibly useful and help add emotion to a scene while hiding the glitching, twitching and general "stroke faces" that occur. But as it improves, yeah, this is gonna be huge for content...

"Chasing Sunsets": Our team's (Arts&Crafts) entry into CIG's Tumbril Cyclone Commercial contest

The RC is a lot of fun to drive... really fast and the boost makes it even better. It's funny, but that's an honest discussion I have with my team at the beginning of every commercial contest. We are fully aware of the fact that these contests are marketing & community engagement... contests...

"Chasing Sunsets": Our team's (Arts&Crafts) entry into CIG's Tumbril Cyclone Commercial contest

This is our team's entry, "Chasing Sunsets", into the Star Citizen Tumbril Cyclone Commercial Contest on the RobertsSpaceIndustries.com website. The video had to focus on one of the Cyclone variants (Base, TR, RC, RN & AA), had to be no longer than two minutes and use only original or official...

My cinematic meandering showcasing the Lorville environment

Nah... I knew it was a joke... but true. It's funny though, there are MANY objects or areas in the game where if you look close enough, it doesn't look so great. The pool balls are one of the best examples of low-poly shapes just because spheres are expensive, poly-wise. Textures can also be...

My cinematic meandering showcasing the Lorville environment

Thanks Mich! Awww, I appreciate that. Thanks. Yeah, we noticed that when the pool table was first introduced in the Star Marine map. We were trying to get a closeup shot and realized how low-poly the pool balls are. And that's fine... most people aren't going to get THAT close to them.

My cinematic meandering showcasing the Lorville environment

"Chewing the Scenery" is a video series in which I showcase the amazing environments within video games. This time, I take meandering, cinematic tour through the massive city of Lorville on the planet Hurston in Star Citizen Alpha 3.4. LORVILLE is one of the many company towns Hurston Dynamics...

    Star Citizen article in Newsweek!

Perhaps... it is fun to mention in conversation though. Throw in the fact that because of SC, I've also been featured in PCGamer twice and interviewed by the New York Times and I sound like big deal.

    Star Citizen article in Newsweek!

CIG approached me about using my images in the article (without being able to tell me WHO was writing the article). So yes, permission was given with the understanding that the outlet MIGHT not give credit.

    Star Citizen article in Newsweek!

The best part (for me) is that the author went back and edited the article the next day to give appropriate credit to the community members that took the in-game screenshots. "Hasgaha" is now credited in Newsweek 😲
