A Panther/Pegasus someday, if that is possible to capture and board. That will be a nice capital ship hive for our YellowJackets. Downside is no storing it when logged off.

Or some Vanduul frigate or corvette.

But with current available ships well, I'm pretty much covered, waiting for their release, but I'd say a Polaris. When we will need to travel through many systems or fight the Vanduuls, this will be a nice militia support ship with a few friends.

I am looking forward to my RSI Persius. It shall be a comfortable modern military style liveaboard, and if thine shit goes down thou shalt see my 4 x S7 cannons make thus go boom boom.

Out of the ships I own (/ have a CCU chain to) I'm probably most exited for either BMM or Endeavor. Or Hull D. I wouldn't mind Reclaimer game loops being finished either...
Okey, so basically I'm really exited for all my ships for one reason or another.
BMM we so far know the most about, and that idea is starting to be the most well refined, and I just can't wait to get my hands on it.
Hull D, that thing is supposed to be highly modular and have just a whack ton of cargo space. Supposedly there will be a military variant as well that I would very much like to check out. Really wanna see what sort of synergy Hull D will end up having with its escorts, and that thing really needs and can justify a ton of escorts, so you'd imagine there'd be some. Like, a refueling pad as an option at the very least.
Endeavor, well, that's just all around a cool ship. Not a fan of modules being bought separately but, ah well. Kinda wanna try space farming. And well, all sorts of stuff Endeavor can do. Science!

And there's an option to swap something to Crucible, but I'm not all that interested in Crucible. It might end up being cool, you never know, but as things stand right now, meh.

Out of the ships I do not own, I'd really wanna see either the $17 million stretch goal unnamed unannounced all-brand-freaking-new Battlecruisers, a Pegasus flying in org colors, or the super dreadnought Retribution. Heck, I'd be fine seeing a regular dreadnought.

Idris military edition, but then......
Then i remember those big ships will not be single player friendly....so i am really happy flying in my carrack. And i really really like it!

When i first played this game, Conny was the ship i read all about, wanting to have her, but then my student budget didnt allow the purchase.
Now Andromeda is also in my fleet and i hold her dear and close to my hearth!

Pioneer with amazing base building mechanics...
without a strongly defended base or hub, my fleet would be unmanageable.
And with fuel prices being huge, a hub being a major landing zone probably wouldn't be efficient?

Of those ships that I own, I'm most eager to see & experience my BMM in game, especially once it's various functions, features & game play mechanics are fully functional. I've always had a massive interest in this ship since it was initially concepted, but back then I didn't think that I'd ever be able to own 1 myself. I have a certain wonderful TESTie to thank for the opportunity to purchase 1 of his that were in reserve.

Of the ships that they've announced that I don't own yet, I'd say that's going to be an Idris just slightly beating the Jav due to it being a carrier & having seen small portions of it in the SQ42 presentations that CIG has released in the past. It's also small enough that when not in use by players, that it can be stored in certain areas to be kept safe.

I'd also love to explore everywhere possible on a Bengal when possible, even if you can't store it or secure it without a massive crew on it 24/7.

That's huge is that supposed to be a Frigate ? .
The Idris is a Frigate. Next step smaller is the Polaris which is a Corvette. Next step smaller is the Perseus which is technically a gunboat. In WWII parlance it would be called a destroyer or "tin can", intended to hunt submarines. In today's parlance it would be called a "Missleboat".

As stands I'm still most looking forward to the Polaris, but the 400i comes really close to my ideal ride. Give it 6 S5X2 missile launchers and I'd be satisfied. The 400i is fast and stealthy but can't really take much punch. It is perfect for extended duration stealth recon in Vanduul territory and if it had 6 missile launchers it could actually take out any medium ships it met along the way. The badly designed missile loadout on the 400i really hurts it. Had it at least been given 4XS4 launchers that would be useful.

Woah, my wise Doppelganger here apparently! I'm certainly pretty excited to try out both the BMM and Polaris, but I too am leery of being able to use such large ships frequently in the longer term. I suspect I'll be using my Carrack a LOT for inter-system travel/exploration, and also my Phoenix as a primary intra-system ship. My favorite thing in SC is ships that can carry other ships, so my progression of Phoenix/Merlin/Rover to Carrack/Pisces/Rover to Polaris/Fighter/Rover is pretty clear cut. If they could just rework that front crew portion of the Phoenix a little for me. . . man I love that ship!

Even after my last disappointing analysis, I am still recommending that those who love this consider operating a Liberator and allowing players to bring 3 Eclipse, 12 M50 and 1 Lancer MIS and work as a strike group. If you really want to carry ships, that is 18 ships flying off your Lib, all stealth, ready to unleash hell on any opponents. While it's true for that much money you can buy a Polaris and have greater effect, this spreads the investment across the entire team and makes entry level very low--go buy an M50. I think if you can apply a vision to kill Vanduul, etc., you'll be able to get the players to fly those ships. This is a much easier path requiring far less commitment and discipline than crewing a Corvette. Should be great fun!

I am sticking with my freelancer Dur. Its a small ship able to explore, haul some freight and take up to a 4 man crew. for me its my jack of all trades ship. if needed I can always take out my Aquila or Carrack

Honorable Mention: I am still fascinated by the possibilities of the Carrack with 2 Ballista's added. One sitting atop the hangar bay, and one slid half way into the vehicle bay gives 4X Hellion VII torps is 400k+ alpha strike damage, plus 4X4 Scimitar V is 150k+ on each of 4 strikes. If when modules come onboard they are open and will allow the Carack to fire Balistas out port and starboard cargo pods, double all that again. The Carrack is a wonderful ride all but its lack of firepower, so adding just 2 Ballistas seems way more than enough to me to make it home. I don't think enough players appreciate what the firepower of 2 Ballistas really brings to the game, so sum up and just call this an Idris killer. The Carrack is blazing fast, maneuverable, has incredible range, drones, medbay, crypto-lab with holo-display, engineering repair shop, double bridge decks, and sensors galore. All it really lacks is missiles, and 4S7 + 16S5 is shocking firepower.

I have been looking at the Carrack especially the correct of I'm wrong the cbx explorer edition I think the ability to have a smaller ship to use as a scout or even to help in a sticky situation would be pretty cool 😎 .
