Star Citizen patch 3.12 will be bringing with it some new gameplay features. You will be able to manipulate objects less than 250kg with your multitool tractor beam.

This will eventually lead to ship sized tractor beams for salvage game loops.

Having watched the video now, 250kg is well enough to lift a person.

There goes the unenterable part of Kelscher prison - Just use the Multi-Tool to lift your raiding buddies in and get them to use theirs to lift you in - then pull out your pew and take the installation by force!
