That's why I'm backing. :) They seem to care about taking the time to put effort into every aspect they can. With so many games going the route of "hold this button to complete this objective," this game seems to care about all the little details.

It will have to be a careful balance. I think it would make for great game play to be repairing the multi-crew ships to mitigate damage. But if fighters have to struggle too much to get kills, what use would fighters serve? I'd like to see fighters effective, but needing to go to the shop...

I can't claim to have been following SC since the beginning. When I heard SC was going to be a space sim, I thought "hmm... that sounds fun. I'll keep my eye on it." But it wasn't until I heard more details about it being a FPS, combined arms game in outer space, that I started to really pay...

I googled. Now I must sleep with the light on... Thanks! Was fun to play along with their scenario. Got into a big space battle afterward, but the chat window got... less than polite, to say the least (not from Gheesling, just internet trolls), so I see why that didn't make the episode.

I haven't taken the plunge to joystick/throttle yet, but I want to. My main issue is there's just too little room on my desk. I would be interested to see what you come up with. I love me some toggle switches!
