No, I think the mechanics are the same as they've been for years (maybe since the very first swappable paints were added to the game, I don't remember). Nothing changed. I'm just having a bit of a moan. 😅

True, but those are things you can put on and take off. Can space paint be removed and put back in the barrel when you switch to another paint, so you have to take it with you? I get that they've done the same for a paint as they would do for another component, but... it's paint!
