Rescue beacons are already in the game, and once Quantum is in play this should be something they add. However if I took a vehicle out and left my ship 2km away IMO calling in your ship to you is a wonderful benefit. Might require an AI blade to speed up response times..

The sandworm is a couple of things, first and foremost it's a tech demo and might never actually be in the game or it's part of the animals the game will include, which adding them into the game isn't a priority right now, likely won't be for a while, maybe even all the way into Beta.

A long time ago someone had brought in a comment about the size of the map in Skyrim fitting into one of the craters on Cellin. Well if that's the case than it would sound like a large enough space to bring those maps in but be in a small enough space to operate easily.
