Why would you need hardpoints? That requires the ability to aim... much easier to just run the ship into stuff.

I have used PowerGrid but because I am lazy, every time CIG changes the keymap it breaks and I don't use it for months until I am less lazy and set it up again. It works well when it is set up, though.
