"Chasing Sunsets": Our team's (Arts&Crafts) entry into CIG's Tumbril Cyclone Commercial contest

This is our team's entry, "Chasing Sunsets", into the Star Citizen Tumbril Cyclone Commercial Contest on the RobertsSpaceIndustries.com website. The video had to focus on one of the Cyclone variants (Base, TR, RC, RN & AA), had to be no longer than two minutes and use only original or official...

My cinematic meandering showcasing the Lorville environment

Nah... I knew it was a joke... but true. It's funny though, there are MANY objects or areas in the game where if you look close enough, it doesn't look so great. The pool balls are one of the best examples of low-poly shapes just because spheres are expensive, poly-wise. Textures can also be...

My cinematic meandering showcasing the Lorville environment

Thanks Mich! Awww, I appreciate that. Thanks. Yeah, we noticed that when the pool table was first introduced in the Star Marine map. We were trying to get a closeup shot and realized how low-poly the pool balls are. And that's fine... most people aren't going to get THAT close to them.

My cinematic meandering showcasing the Lorville environment

"Chewing the Scenery" is a video series in which I showcase the amazing environments within video games. This time, I take meandering, cinematic tour through the massive city of Lorville on the planet Hurston in Star Citizen Alpha 3.4. LORVILLE is one of the many company towns Hurston Dynamics...

    Star Citizen article in Newsweek!

Perhaps... it is fun to mention in conversation though. Throw in the fact that because of SC, I've also been featured in PCGamer twice and interviewed by the New York Times and I sound like big deal.

    Star Citizen article in Newsweek!

CIG approached me about using my images in the article (without being able to tell me WHO was writing the article). So yes, permission was given with the understanding that the outlet MIGHT not give credit.

    Star Citizen article in Newsweek!

The best part (for me) is that the author went back and edited the article the next day to give appropriate credit to the community members that took the in-game screenshots. "Hasgaha" is now credited in Newsweek 😲

This is the only mining shot I already have... but it is 3rd person and includes NONE of your requirements. You are welcome to use it though.

Looking for Mining screenshots - 3.3 or 3.3.5: With Prizes - Done

I have nothing like that currently, but I'll see if I can come up with anything. Any requirements on resolution or aspect ratio?

Hahaha... no, we each get our own ship. Each of us will have a Phoenix (and, presumably, a Lynx and P-72 since those come with it)

Ah yes, the Squatty Potty guy. I do like a lot of the footage they got... it is pretty. I hope CIG sees it that way

"The Newly Redesigned 2948 Mustang Beta": My team's (Arts&Crafts) entry for the Mustang Ship Commercial

THANKS Myre!! The prizes for these commercial contests have been interesting to say the least... well, the variation has been interesting. The first contest, the 600i commercial, we each won an Aegis Eclipse with LTI for first place. The second contest, the Prospector commercial, we each one a...

"The Newly Redesigned 2948 Mustang Beta": My team's (Arts&Crafts) entry for the Mustang Ship Commercial

We agree Sunder. That would be fun... and hopefully pay some bills. Nah... the in-house team has access to in-engine tools and can put the camera wherever the want. Also, we're a team of three. CIG's in-house team isn't much bigger, but they do have a lot of people they have to run their work...
