    Sale incoming?

All Constellation Phoenix (Standard and Emerald) come with the Lynx. From what I have learnt, the Piano was included with early models of the standard Phoenix (I don't know which versions, if any, of the Emerald have it). I believe the Piano was sold individually as well ("Hartwell Music...

    Sale incoming?

If you're lucky, they'll do a larger pack containing a group of ships you already have, with a price above $1000, so you can buy it with credits from melting the ships you have and still receive the LTI. If they don't do a pack with an LTI Phoenix, I'll probably have be wait until I have the...

    Sale incoming?

I'm actually hoping that the Lynx is released during Fortuna (work on it is scheduled to conclude at around that time), with the Constellation Phoenix and\or the Constellation Phoenix Emerald being obtainable with LTI as a result. While the Lynx has been included with both Constellation Phoenix...

    Sale incoming?

It would depend on your intention with the Prospector: If it's not something you intend to keep, you can buy it any time. If you're interested in having it as a permanent part of your fleet, waiting for it to go on sale with more than 6 months "insurance", or using CCU's may be a better option...

    For the Salvage peeps

Bad news for anyone looking for additional salvage, repair, or refining ships: Quote taken from the latest "Jump Point". It would be nice if each profession had even half as many ship options as combat does...

Interestingly, Vehicle Munching is on the roadmap, with work scheduled to finish at the end of March...

    Sale incoming?

It would have been interesting to see that picture, to try and work out what the ship\vehicle were. Edited to add: It sounds reminiscent of the Hoverquad\Nomad pack from back when the Hoverquad released: Would it be possible that they reused a picture from that? In the near future, we'll be...

3.19 mining changes detailed in ISC

Hopefully this will kill off the "Quantanium is the only thing worth mining" approach. I wonder if the mining outposts will also be affected, so that the commodities they sell reflect what can be mined in the area? I'd also love to see the outposts changed at the same time, so that they sell...

    Mining Changes coming in 3.19

    And, here are the details:

Choosing a starting and a "home" location in 3.18

I've never been there myself (I might go have a look tonight), but this might help:

Choosing a starting and a "home" location in 3.18

Once we get another UEE system or 2 into the game [1], it would be nice to see the Pioneer (and smaller "relatives") be brought online, so that people could start claiming land and building their own settlements\homes, which would add more POI for people to visit and possibly trade at, making...

Choosing a starting and a "home" location in 3.18

The suggestions seem reasonable, although I'm not a fan of the "Quantanium is the only thing to mine in a Prospector" implication... It's the most profitable, but many like the experience of mining without the risks that Quantanium brings (having to get to a refinery quickly, having to stop for...

    Mining Changes coming in 3.19

As an update to the previous reply, I've tracked down the MOLE's Q and A. The relevent items related to filtering\refining are: Source: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/comm-link/engineering/17403-Q-A-ARGO-MOLE Reading this, it seems to sugest that the Prospector was\is still intended to...

    Mining Changes coming in 3.19

The reason people talk about the prospector ejecting inert material was because that was one of the features it was sold with (I'm not sure about the MOLE, but I don't believe that was one of its abilities) which allows the bags to be completely filled with the useful raw resources rather than...

    In case you were wondering...

My curiosity was more around how many fitted in the cargo bay, rather than internal storage, as there may be a need for catering in Pyro whenever it becomes accessible, but it's nice to know that there should be enough space in internal storage for catering for the crew on the voyage there.

    Mining Changes coming in 3.19

That is the most likely change to be on the way. Some other possible changes I can think of: Sub-surface mining (mining resources below the surface, not just the rock nodes on top of the surface) being implemented for the Prospector (as was originally intended for it, I believe) The ability...

New variant on the way (3.18)

According to Pipeline, the QED has been downgraded from a snare + dampener to being solely a dampener. So it has gone from being a competitor to the Mantis, to instead being a competitor to the Cutlass Blue as far as this functionality goes.

PTU 3.18 Available (Wave 3 / Open PTU!)

Ground vehicles also received this feature (load up after hostile bunker missions): Importantly, it is shared, not personal, storage - meaning anyone can add\remove items... It is also nice that the Aurora's have had their ladders removed and replaced by stairs (A change that I think the 300...

New variant on the way (3.18)

The most recent, colour pictures on Pipeline would suggest there is no turret on the Antares (or that if there is, it is limited to the lower rear posiion only but not shown), as there are no rails for a turret to travel on and the upper turret location looks like it is the location of the EMP...

New variant on the way (3.18)

That's another area where the Mantis and either the Hawk or Vanguard Sentinel have an advantage here, given all 3 ships have a "bed" option to log out in (In the hawk, you can use the "prisoner" storage area for this, I believe)... I forgot to add that to my thoughts earlier. That said, it's...
