There wasn't much to it, I think it was aiming for something like Empyrion but the original premise sounded cool. Its been a couple years and they've done some big updates. We may have to go have a look again. General reviews on Steam have been pretty lack luster but we know how those can go.

Yeah, when we bought it, it seemed more like an open world survival to space game, kind of like what Empyrion does, it looked interesting but at the time it was SUPER early and there was very little there. Its been a couple years now and we were debating having another look at it after its updates.

Has anyone messed around with this? We bought it awhile back at first alpha release but there wasn't much there yet so we figured we'd come back later if it didn't disappear. They appear to have done a few big updates recently. Any experience or thoughts?

The size one will cut a ship in half fast once the shields fail, but the range is short, the size 2s of the mole can cut a Connie in half in less than 3 seconds if your amazing pilot (points at Gotin) can get your big fat ass close enough to the Connie......:D

RNG has its hand! I've had times when I QTd in, dropped down toward the surface of some moon and the very first rock I scanned was 20% Laranite and big enough to fill my prospector's hold. Or come into an asteroid belt with the Mole and the first cluster of rocks are all above 15% good ores...

I want a heavy fighter (I'm more of a face-tank sort of fighter, I stink at being agile in any way) so trying to decide which Vanguard I'd like. Any input on which variant is better for PVE/NPC toe-to-toe type of fighting? or other options I haven't thought about?
