Is there a summary of this year's CitizenCon somewhere? Just wanted to know if we were getting any new systems? Server meshing? Basically what new features is available, or did SC wasted another year and just put a out new ships for sale? At this rate Mr Roberts might have to eat his words of SC...

It's the same as D2. There's no microtransactions. Everyone starts with nothing and can get challenging.

Ok I see what everyone is getting at, it's just the begining of a major change. That would explain the generic (similar) stats on all the components. Let's wait and see how it goes, hopefully I won't have to change my fleet around too much.

Just curious if anyone knows why CIG put S3 shield on a ship that costs $150? Even it's physical size doesn't support such a big shield. If anything the Valk or Tali should get it first? Also the Sabre got 1 shield removed, but not the Nomad? Some loose wires going on at CIG.

I've been using both stick and throttle for a few years now. Both are bolted to my chair so they aren't taking up any desk space. Works good for me, does everything I need. I abuse them often when playing SC, they are very durable. But I've never tried any other controllers so can't compare.

It's crazy how CIG has approached this. There are lots of people that got their Polaris for less than $400. Then others that have paid full price. Here's a $390 Polaris ($15 is for the game pack), but it could have been $315 if I paid a bit more attention.

Anyone know why the big Origin ships are not on for sale?

I gave up my Hurricanes for the Scorpius. Mostly for the appearance. The Hurricane is ugly as hell, a triangle with wheels haha. The extra power plant is also a plus on a ship with lots of weapons.

I think some of the guns have to be S3 or even S4. If your ship only has S2s then it must be agile to get close in combat.

My Default: S1 - Atlas, can't really use the faster drives because you can't even reach the next planet. S2 - XL1, once you have the fuel, speed all the way S3 - Pontes, again speed and they are free if you have spare Cats lying around 😝
