Ok, update: I found and pushed the CLEAR CMOS button, which reset the bios. I can note get into the bios, and keyboard and mouse now work in bios on both usb 2.0 & 3.0 ports. I still have no luck at the login screen. I'm going to try a ps/2 port tomorrow morning. Thanks all for the suggestions...

I totally suspect the network adapter. It's a Killer e2200 network adapter, and the software has given me some issues since I first installed the motherboard. But that is less important. Because currently, I can't even get my computer to recognize the keyboard and mouse.
