Nice post and echos some of the sentiment i tried to put across.
I have to say i can empathise with peoples annoyance about what we have available to us as they may have been following the project really closely and have become burnt out by some of the missteps along the way. I myself have only...
I'd honestly rather they gave us nothing and were able to work more in a fashion towards the end goal.
You wouldn't expect to jump into any other game midway through development and judge them based on what they have at that time.
I really don't get some people's comparison to other...
Because i was using mostly credit i didn't want to spend the extra credit for the difference between 60month and LTI when i can keep the credit for later as i'll be trading the cutlass in for a DUR likely as exploring mechanics get added.
Vulture is the best addition now for the game as another entry level option.
Tbh they will probably make all these at some stage anyway so theres no rush for a carrier.
More entry ships likely to draw in more people who get sucked into our world of endless upgrades.
Well SQ 42 is now $45 ( plus tax for ur country) if you buy it separate now so if you are planning to buy it in the future anyway its good value as it may actually go up again on release.
If you have SQ42 already you have to melt the package you have already.
Once you have done that then select the package you want then work your way through to the payment selection and it should popup automatically before that with an option to add it.
It won't give you the option to add it...
This is only really relevant if you want to spend the amount of an anniversary pack plus $15 anyway which for me in the UK with VAT is £48.00
You have to buy the package plus addon sq42 pack with new money so that's the only way to do it.
After that though you will have the credit from your...
I had a cutlass black with 3 months ins becuase it was an upgraded starter pack.
But now i got a 60mnth Must alpha, 60mnth Cutlass black and $30 of credit.
This ofc is useless unless you are not planning to spend some actual money but you get a fair bit for it.
I started today with:
3month start pack+sq42 upgraded to a cutlass black.
I did this method melted my hangar and spent £48.00 and ended up with :
60month Starter + Sq 42
60month...
Just so you all are aware if you want to buy one of the anniversary packs then addon SQ42 after you can do it but it's warbond so you have to buy it.
Before you get the option though if you have SQ42 on ur package already you have to melt it first.
You can then buy this with real money as an...
I wonder how much if anything is made from collabs with Intel for example. Do they include things like this within the pledge tally or does it just include money from ship/package/merch sales?
I have another question. I'm sure i saw an option to add SQ42 to an existing package for around $15 somewhere but i can't seem to find it now, anyone have any idea what happened to this?
It's up to $170m today.
There is a big difference between having $170m to spend on development at the start of development as opposed to acquiring funding as you go along.
This isn't a game. It's the earliest stages of alpha.
Also game devs don't typically have to divert time away from making...
But you could buy say a starter pack ccu that then gift that?
I think that was what i heard soemwhere as long as you buy something with cash if you ccu it after you can then gift it.
