    Ares Q&A posted

If CIG keeps the "if it sits it fits", you can park there up to 4 :-)

    Here's the Crusader Ares

After purchasing this ship x 2 + 2 CCUs... I feel like I can stop purchasing (so many more) ships...

    Here's the Crusader Ares

The weapon is so close to the center of the ship that I really doubt it to be installed on one of the wings.

So finally something in between a Vanguard and a freelancer.

    Here's the Crusader Ares

I was talking about weapons, not ammo or special cases as torps, lol.

Melt the Nautilus for the Ares?

    But truly fun!

Melt the Nautilus for the Ares?

There are many interesting places to mine, and of course, you have the missions and beacons.

Melt the Nautilus for the Ares?

Yeah, you QT through a minefield and if you hit a mine the QT engine stops and you are dead meat as the rest of the minefield will attack you.

Melt the Nautilus for the Ares?

Me too! And got already every capital ship I need (unless they sell a new nice concept sale, but I doubt it...). But I am thinking about grabbing 4 Ares instead of 2 Ares and maybe a Carrack... argh

Melt the Nautilus for the Ares?

I have a solstice one. Does it help? :-)

Melt the Nautilus for the Ares?

Crew requirement? get a bunch NPCs and go! Running those ships should not be a problem. They start with ammo, fuel, etc, so grab a mission and enjoy!

Melt the Nautilus for the Ares?

More space = more potential paid work! Besides, you can target areas around important places as good mining spots, outposts, alien derelicts or noice salvageable wrecks, or that Bengal awaiting repair before fun! Of course around jump points and alongside common QT routes.

    Here's the Crusader Ares

Yeah, whatever they do they will balance it. We have not yet nor many capitals nor S7 weapons to try it up either. And IIRC neither S6!

    Piracy Piracy Division/Squadron Organization Brainstorm

New shield and armor systems. CIG has said since the beginning that a weapon size increase is x2.73 DPS (or roughly x3 ;-p). Not sure if the current intention is a different one but probably current weapon DPS values are based on: * no real armor system (shots can bounce, etc) * no current...

    Piracy Piracy Division/Squadron Organization Brainstorm

Both is good. I got both as well. And planning to CCU two of my game packages (350R and Mantis) to 2 more. I thought as well it would be great to use with Kraken/Privateer as well, and had already 4 Ravens, which would be a good match as well. And I think Ares has as well synergy with my...

Probably: lower maneuverability so worse aim vs small fast-moving targets as fighters, and be torpedo fodder.

3.8 PTU testing, Warning Spoil Alert!

I would like to work as well with non-player persons (persons who have not purchased the game but I want to play with them using my innumerable accounts), I mean, to use the NPC as a common account temporarily (limited of course with same agent-smithing limitations).

Those alpha damage ratings are not reliable. Expect x2 or x3 DPS per size increase when the armor is implemented, etc.

    Crusader Ares - Stats live

I got one of these as well! :-) Usually, for noobs like me, it is the contrary, slow firing heavy damage weapons are harder to use than fast low damage weapons.
