I doubt it, fracking is releasing the gas using liquids so hardly going to kill anyone unless you pump pure oxygen into it and shoot at it with your lasers.

Will innocent and poor space NPC's get killed in the fracking process? Becasue if they do, that sounds like a fun minigame.

Meh, fracking gets bad publicity. As someone who has worked many, many fracs, I'm telling you that they are not anywhere near as evil as certain groups and documentries make them out to be.

Asteroid (astroid - miner lingo) fracking has been hypothesized to kill gz_alpha bacteria that eat antimatter and poop carbon... the foundation of life in the universe. So it is in our interest to SAVE the gz_alpha bacteria.
