is applying a custom paint a one-time thing or can you switch them at will? That big paint pack looks interesting ...

is applying a custom paint a one-time thing or can you switch them at will? That big paint pack looks interesting ...

Last time i played they are switch at will but you have to be at your home base or load the paint-cans into your inventory to carry to where-ever else you want to use them :-)

The only permanent paint change at this point is the 300 series customisation options where you change the base paint to something else.

(As Alpha all thongs can change though)

Usually you can switch at will. Those paint cans are an option to add or renove in the ship customisation.
In 4.6 it was bugged and you always "painted over" the last paint you applied. So that was a gonner and someone chosing the color of their ride to suite their battle attire was quickly discouraged to do so.
At lest I hope it was a bug and no feature... hm...
Anyhow, come 4.7 all Liveries are back.
So at worst they are a "one use per patch" item.
At best you can go switcheroo to your heart's content.
