Leap years are weird... I vote we have a metric style calendar year and time. Consistent days each month and easy to do base 10 math for figuring out time differences.
to get rid of leap years we would have to increase days by about 1 minute everyday so it would be 24.01 lol that would be so freaken awkward. either that or make the second longer by nanoseconds it is possible but would be a weird thing worldwide.
I took the extra day to write a small one page story for my kid.
I read it to the wife and she said "Oh, wow! Thats almost exactly the same as Story X"
