Targeting is not primary, but when in bigger fights, pirates or players, it is important to prioritize targets or quickly switch targets.
If you are chasing a Cutlass and a Buccaneer starts ripping you up, you better switch targets fast.

@marcsand2 How do you like the MFG's? I am trying to decide between those and the VKB-Sim T-Rudders MK-IV.
Has VKB also a brake function? They look fine, don't take a lot space, rudder is moving your feet instead of moving your legs, but I miss the brake function.
The MFG is my first rudder pedal, I really like it. It is made of thick trespa, but the work fine.
Did you also checked Slaw Device RX Viper Rudder Pedals? They also look very interesting, only difference between MFG and RX viper is that on the MFG you place your foot on the pedals while on the RX Viper you slide with your heels over the floor. It seems to me that the brake function if harder to use then on the MFG because you must place your foots higher, while on the MFG your foots always are in braking position.

They do not have a hard brake but they have recently implemented a software solution that allows for virtual toe brake function (not too too sure on how it works). I am not too worried about the lack of toe brakes though because I mainly play SC and other 6dof games. I do not own any in-atmosphere flight sims. So I don't really "need" them.

How long did it take to get your MFG's in? I know it's just the one guy. I read some reviews that talked about months waiting for them. They were a few years old though. I am wondering if the process has gotten a little faster over the years? I ask because there are VKB's in stock ready to ship lol. I am not known for patience.

I ordered the MFG 28th of April 2016 with an Expected Ship Date : June 2016, because color changes in material I got them end of May.
