lol, that is incredibly annoying. I've been scanned while I was inside a closed hanger. They just don't have any limits.

I once got a crime stat for not stopping fast enough when I got pulled over & scanned while exiting quantum and the ship hadn't even turned over control of my ship to me yet. Hopefully that is a bug that they've fixed, because that was absolute BS.

hah, doesn't happen that often, but I have had that happen to me a few times when vision is blocked by Stanton's light. 900 years from now, they have apparently forgotten about polarizing light. It's above you, so you're pretty blind until it's too late, then smack.
Mitigation strategy (that has worked for me): if you can, qt to an OM point first instead of anything that requires looking at Stanton, then target where you want to go.
