Yeah, you know it is almost worth having just for those times you man a turret for someone else. A joystick and the goggles would be fine. You don't need to see the controls if you're just looking and shooting. This would be such a kick. When they get the turrets right I can see spending hours just shooting practice from them, learning to communicate with the pilot about what he is about to do so oyu know what will happen to your targets, etc.
