So, I think all Hornet owners should be forced... er... volunteer to throw their stingers into their specialized arenas to enable better usage of said craft for escort, tracking, ambush and general mayhem making.
F7C/-Ms (Standard Hornets and Super-Hornets) would be in the Big Brown Ball of Death. General dogfighting and ground support craft; can be used in space and planetary engagements.
F7As may be grouped into a special "F!$@ Yo Couch (Ground troops)" division, or member of the BBBD.
F7C-S' (Hornet Ghost) would be in the <Insert cool covert-ops styled name>, the Ambush wing of the Hornet's nest. Typically used in small to medium scaled engagements which may or may not involve advanced tactics and forethought, and in conjunction with the dogfighting F7C/Ms by pushing the prey into a trap. They may also be used for Bounty Hunting/Policing in cooperation with F7C-R Trackers and Cutlass Blues (Again, for ambushes of prey).
F7C-R's (Hornet Trackers) May be in a limited EWACs role, early warning/system patrol, as well as bounty hunting operations.
Pilots may also be referred to as "Pricks".
