Hey, I just found this gem of a story about the U.S. and Germens (yes U.S. AND GERMANS) working together in the final days of WW2. Amazing story. Have you heard this story before? do you have any other cool history stories to share?

If you are a military history buff I would recommend a couple of YouTube channels.

This one goes week by week through WW2 in a basic fashion and touches on some interesting details, has animated maps and such.

If you are a music and war history fan, the band Sabaton has a series with the host from the other link going over songs they wrote and a brief talk about the event.

I will check those out. I love me some Sabaton.

Ya, I heard about this one too! it was also really nice.
I also have seen a vid about a beaten up P-47 Thunderbolt, who got hit again and again by a German pilot, until the German was out of ammo and the P-47 limped further. The German escorted him to safety. Unfortunately I couldn't find it.

I followed his WW1 show, after it was finished, so I could watch in a faster pace. Now I'm waiting every week to see an update.
