Just a general survey/listing that I hope will be stickied so we can get some sort of idea what we all have and update it as time goes on.

So just post what you have in your hangar right now and if this does get stickied then edit your post to reflect any changes as time goes on. This isn't really for discussing, just listing. I'll go first:

Atm i'm sure i will keep the Scout, Starferer, reclaimer, Aquila and MIS.
For the rest of the ships there is a change they can or will be melted for an upgrade.
Excpet fo the Aurora (has LTI) that will be upgraded towards a bigegr ship.

Still keeping an eye out for the Hull C, Orion and maybe the Herald, but i need more info first.
Also for the new wave (4) of ships, the one that seems to win the vote this week is interesting... the repair ship, but that is still a long way off.

I want the Cutlass, Gladiator and Retaliator, though I think those will be in-game purchases.

Spreadsheet needs to be updated I think with Gladius and new Wave 3 ships, and probably not the best time to do update all the options, since even more ships are coming out in the immediate future, and I anticipate our hangars will change A LOT for the November sale!

Besides, we all like to show off how much money we've spent on internet spaceships! I know I do :P

I noticed that right after I posted. Makes perfect sense in my mind. We have a ship for general purpose, a ship for dogfighting, a ship for racing, and a ship for something else.

Is your alpha/beta access tied in with the Hornet or the Constellation?
I'm guessing you might pick up either a Banu MM, a Starfarer, a Caterpillar, or a HullC for trading/mercantile as your last ship?
Or were you thinking Carrak, which is why you didn't upgrade to an Aquilla?

For me it was:
Constellation was my first ship, should be adaptable and useful for a lot of things.
Gladius looks really sweet, and it would be useful to have a dogfighting ship/escort ship. The most recent renderings look really awesome.
Constellation variants released. Long deliberations. Phoenix just seemed like the best fit in the end.
M50 proved to be hilarious in Arena Commander, and racing module demonstrated that they are giving serious effort and devotion to racing, so it seemed like a ship that might be fun after all, even if I didn't get it early enough to get LTI
Reclaimer released, Sweet Jesus! A must have!

It's the Hornet - digital colonel package from way back when. I originally wanted something in which I could tool around and blow up stuff with lasers.

As for trade, I've got a buddy that I'm planning on running escort with. He's still debating what ship he's going to go with, but I'm pretty sure he'll settle for a Carrack. The Gladius I'm planning on going scout/recon with, once I outfit it with low signature equipment :)

325i (Gotta have a dogfighter somewhere in there)
Avenger (For playing cops in)
Freelancer DUR (For when I get fed up with you knuckleheads and need to head for parts unknown)
Constellation Phoenix (For when I want to throw a party for you knuckleheads. Also, leather seats in this one)
Reclaimer (For cleaning up the pieces of pulverized Aurora debris after a "party")
