Online sources are calling it the “Vanguard aircraft” but odds are it is AI. The canopy placement reflects the advent of the new helmets that can “see through” the craft itself. I think this distinctive change in canopy may well effect designs to come.
The triple wide body makes extreme good sense, given stealth wants munitions stored internal. If the actual fuselage folded upward port and starboard, and the winglets folded in, you can imagine a naval fighter better equipped and with much greater range than the F35.
Given no real intel on NGAD, could be this artist’s depiction is more on target than one would at first guess. Certainly it looks cool.

Seems like it is over next level +2.
Currently there's always the discussion if a fighter plane needs 2 engines or if one suffices.
Cost versus survivability.
This one got 4 engines?
Wonder who signed off that concept. Because the cost per plane would go whoopsydaisy.
And don't get me started on the cost of maintenance...
Also the Roll-Pitch flaps are forward facing? Rule of cool and all that but discarded during WW I because you constantly have to battle the airstream to get back to neutral position.
Doesn't happen when the flaps are in the back.
So this is... an artistic rendering done by someone with more imagination than technical and economical knowledge.
Or an AI.
