So I've been amazed at the number of people participating in Fortnight non-game events (https://www.theverge.com/2020/4/29/21241414/fortnite-party-royale-ltm-mode) like the Marshmello Rave of 10 million attendees and Travis Scotts Concert (https://www.theverge.com/2020/4/23/21233637/travis-scott-fortnite-concert-astronomical-live-report) of 12 million attendees. I thought to myself, why can't we do something like that here in Star Citizen. Granted fortnight has a huge following and multi-platform access, and we still suffer with server queues and crashes when we bombard the SC login, as evidence of the Invictus week opening. However, we also showed that CIG can host multi-server timed events like the fleet jumping from planet to planet on the same schedule (at least what seemed to me to be the same schedule). Also, as players, we've managed to do in-game events like the daymar rally all on our own. So do you think we could pull something like this off, like in Area 18's convention center, for a concert or multi-server dance party (this would be sick once server meshing works) where CIG is hosting it and timed simultaneously across the various servers. On top of that, with Citizen Con being canceled and going digital on some of the presentations, why not try to present it this way. Get an avatar of CR on a stage at the in game convention center showing all the cool new features that are coming, showing video on a screen like they would in a RL event, etc. So where are my DJ streamers at, can you pull a live stream/in game concert off like this? Thoughts, moans, complaints?
