Seay! Too bad I'm going dual joystick. Also, they mention compatability with SC and ED twice heh.

Nice little touch, if they can get their production quality back to what they once had before Mad Catz stepped into the game and bought them, this could actually become something.

I really like the X-52 (when you get one that works) and the Cyborg 3D I had before that, but for now it's dual T-16000s.

Looks awesome!

I wonder if this is the Star Citizen HOTAS, unbranded?

EDIT: It's not.

I wonder if this is the Star Citizen HOTAS, unbranded? I imagine it probably is.
It's lacking the trackballs for gimbals if that were the case, assuming they were keeping that idea for the high end version. This looks more like an update to the X55 for space sims, can't see much different bar two micro-sticks for strafe, though admittedly that's a great addition. Watched the video and that was *all* they talked about!

You can always still paint the blue yellow, well, atleast *try* to paint it.
The x56 looks sexier than the x55, and aimed at space sims (I wonder why /s).

Looks cool, but already have my setup...... Also I am a cheap bugger. I only have $110 to 120 in my hotas and jury rigged chair.

Curious that they would reveal this ahead of the Star Citizen branded stick.

Odds are every person buying this one, is NOT buying the Star Citizen one in a few months.
What if it is something of a prototype for the SC one? Maybe the SC version has a few extra features.

Hope the little sticks are accurate enough
You don't need that much precision on the strafe axises, just enough to not slam into the landing pad when landing manually. I know at least my left stick is not used as a precision device most of the time. In dogfighting inertia beats the precision anyways ;)

Designed for space, but still a heavy split throttle holdover from multi engine flight sims. Seems like old, painted blue.

I like that they keep the split throttle since that allows it to be good in multi engine flight sim without sacrificing one single bit for space sims. You can lock it and you could also use it for yet another analogue axis, power throttle for one? But yeah, base design is old painted blue, but the physical design of the old one wasn't bad, the general build quality was.
