I've been trying to figure the input device I'd like to use in SC and as much fun as the mouse and keyboard are in AC, I wish I could access the decoupled mode more easily. I'm not too fond joysticks or HOTAS myself and it seems that these setups are just as limited. I know ALOT of people are diehards for that but, just not for me.
I've come up with 3DConnexion devices. It's really the only one out there offering a decent solution for 6DoF. I know these are great for GIS, CAD and other design applications but I haven't used them myself. The support for them is limited but this guy Lasse has basically written a profile for all of these devices for vJoy.

My question is, has anyone from TEST implemented these devices in SC? and what are your thoughts about using this in-game?
