Continuously Crashing at Start - Help PLZZZZZZ

Hi guys,

trying to get into 2.5 PTU and need some help. So i i downloaded the new patch and tried to launch the game and it CRASHED on me. I get to the screen as shown in my picture then the game always crashes.

I tried to verify the game file but for some reason very time i verify there is an update and once i install the update and verify again THERE IS ANOTHER FCKN UPDATE :(:(:confused::confused:

My computer specs are:

i3 - 4170 (its a dual core but game was working fine with 2.4.1)
GTX 950
16GB RAM
Public Game folder size: 24.6GB

Can anyone help me out here so i can get into the verse :D

well considering the PTU is done and its LIVE now are you seeing the ptu tab in the launcher still?

No its not PTU anymore. Its the live version now, and I have verified the files about 10times now and each time it updated something. Once it updates and says ready to launch if you go into verify again it will update something again. like the picture attacted below.

well its just not opening or it literally shuts down in the task manager? does the crash handler come up?

Yes the crash handler comes up, saying reporting crash

Have you tried deleting the USER Folder?

If so, I suggest downloading the entire game again from the RSI web site.

Its a fresh install, just did it tonight. Guess i can go try again

This could be the launcher, you can try reinstalling that :)

Did you do anything before it started crashing?
Did you change anything on your drivers? updates? anything?

I did reinstall the launcher but no go. It still crashes after you press launch game and goes to crash handler

I did change one thing and that was upgrade to windows 10 from windows 7. I thought this was an issue too so reinstalled the SC patcher in a new location and redownloaded the game. But no go, it always crashes on me. This issue has come up since i upgraded to windows 10 tbh.

Were you in the Beta?If so you need to

like Cosmic trader suggests OR if you've modified your user file!

Brand New install again after i had problems so no such folder atm haha

what timezone are you in and what time can you get on discord? we can run a few tests to see what's going on.
