Controller for SC

Hey Testies,

I want to buy new controller just for SC, I'm currently looking at the HOTAS X. Did anyone here have any good/bad experiences with it? Also can you recommend a better controller or is the hotas good? Price range is $100-$150.

The Saitek x55 is my first hotas so I can't speak for any others, but I love it. I've played nearly 100 hours on it and haven't had any problems so far. Unfortunately, it's a little out of your budget at $199.99 on amazon. You might check out the Saitek x52 pro ($149.99). Not as many programmable buttons but still has the rudder twist which eliminates the need for foot pedals. It might be worth it to wait till saitek releases their star citizen dedicated hotas models.
