Probably old news for some people, but I just did this to a 13700k and it changed the game entirely. Thought I'd put it out there for anyone looking.
My game was running so poorly, I just thought it was how the alpha ran and lived with it. It was a stuttering mess, and I couldn't crack 35 fps.
After disabling e-core in the BIOS, SC is butter smooth and I've seen 90+ fps in places. So much better! do it.
