FO4VR is very much playable of the Oculus Rift. Use these two mods
https://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/7jaxmz/scroll_up_and_down_menus_with_the_x_a_buttons_in/
https://github.com/matzman666/OpenVR-InputEmulator/releases
-------------------
Only two negative things
The map is a bit of a pain and sometimes I have to fast travel twice to get across the map as I can not scroll all the way across.
The PIP boy left and right sub menu takes a bit of fiddling but you will get used to it
None of these two are game breakers

Also you can use your old saves from the none VR version.
On my PC I went into C > users> my name> documents> my games.
the folders for Fallout and Fallout VR are next to each other,
open fallout go into the saves folder, copy a save and post it in the same place in the fallout VR folder.

I'm guessing that Skyrim will work also when it is released.

The Microsoft Mixed reality headsets are pretty good according to @mromutt and they work with Steam VR.

The next generation of VR headsets should be coming out very soon.
yeah a lot of games already have mr support on steam :) it even already has an icon like rift, vive and osvr

I thought you had VR, have you not talked about playing ED?

But Christmas is not the time for VR anyway, despite me not being a Christian, the cultists in the house have today erected a huge tree which takes up half of my room scale play area. Its a Health and Safety nightmare

VR is the future towards the reality as portrayed in Ready Player One.

great book, probably going to be a great movie too.

I'm definitely waiting anxiously for the Skyrim VR port. It would be nice if they invented a standard for scaling and whatever else you would need to do to make all games playable in VR in the future, at least the ones that would make sense. Because I'm bored, here's a list of titles I would like to see in VR:

Alien: Isolation
Amnesia The Dark Descent
Antichamber
ARMA 3
Bioshock Series
Chivalry
Dark souls (follow behind VR would be fine)
Divinity Original Sin 2 (Overhead VR would be nice)
Dragon Age (Overhead)
Dungeon Siege 1 + 2 remake (overhead or first person)
All of the Elder Scrolls games since Morrowind, excluding ESO
Farming Simulator
Janes Fleet command remake
The Forest
GTA series
Half Life series
Kerbal SP (hesitant with this one. Don't think it needs VR)
LIF Forest Village
The long Dark
Mass Effect Trilogy
No Mans Sky (its relaxing)
Path of Exile (overhead view)
Pillars of Eternity (overhead view)
Planet Coaster
Portal Series
Civilization 6
Space Engineers
Spintires
KOTOR HD VR remake!
Train Simulator
Tropico Series
Tyranny (overhead view)
The Witcher 3 (ONLY if you can make it work)

Others to consider:

Planetside 2
Mech Warrior Series
A VR FEAR 1 Remake
2018 X-wing vs Tie Fighter VR ??? yeah???

Any you would add?

Exciting stuff! Although I'd be more excited if there were a new Fallout or Elder Scrolls game with VR in mind. Perhaps a new engine? *hint hint*

Can only do so much with that dinosaur they're still using.
