I just keep a vacuum handy.
I do this. Plastic end on the vac and a little soft bristle brush. Keeps it looking good . Compressed air is better but I'm not willing to keep buying cans or dragging to my friends workshop (he has a compressor). Vac 'n' brush, standard tools!

That's the reason I bought this.

Its stupid powerful and much easier than cans.

To be honest, since adding a 2nd 7970 the mobo temps have gone up, what you can't see is that most of the case sticks out the back of my desk and there's a good draught of air between the open bay windows. On a hot day, Metro LL at full, windows and cupboard closed, it'll hit 55 on the mobo, then I remember to open the Windows etc. Average temps gaming under load are 30-40cpu (over a GHz overclock remember) and 40-50mobo (was about the same as cpu before the 2nd card was installed).

Can't complain :D
That makes sense. I am running a 6750 Crossfire setup, and the one card drawing hot air from the other is increasing the temperature exponentially. I had to stick 6 120mm fans in the case to bring them down to proper temperatures. My CPU (FX-6300 OC'd to 4.3Ghz) runs as low as 14C when idle and doesn't exceed 53C under load. I'm using a ZALMAN CNPS9500A cooler for the cpu (all copper, 6 heatsinks, heavy stuff) and stock coolers for the GPUs. Eventually I plan to get water cooling at least for the GPUs since their fans are driving me nuts (Sapphire 6850 stock cooling is a piece of crap).

That Zalaman looks awesome, always liked their designs and dat temp! (the dark rock pro was similar until it just packed up one day). I'd love to fit some water cooling to the gpu's, not sure what's best for my setup though. There's only one place to mount a radiator and fans in pull push and it's not suitable for the double size rads. There's space at the bottom I suppose but then all the hot crosses the mobo on the way out. Not really up for a new case (£) so kinda stuck with it how it is for now. On a side note what ever happened to TEC?

I actually haven't owned a desktop since I moved out of my parents place years ago. I took the plunge a couple of months ago, motivated by the fact that I could now fly around in Star Citizen would you believe?
I went a bit over budget, and that's without even buying a monitor or computer desk o_O I don't regret it though...

The important parts are:

i7 4790k
Sabertooth Z97 Mk2 MB
16 GB Corsair Vengance Pro Ram
Samsung 250 GB 840 EVO SSD
Corsair H80i CPU cooler
GTX 780Ti 3GB
SoundBlaster Z audio card
Aaaand Windows 7 64 bit

There are a few things I'm going to change, I bought a 1TB HDD but I think I'll just save up and buy two more SSD drives. I can't go back after feeling the difference.
Also I only bought a $25 DVD drive which I might upgrade in the future.

Running it all on my 42 inch Sony TV but I'd like to buy the new ROG display with Gsync support if I can find the cash.
And a desk so I'm no longer laying on the floor...

Edit: Sorry about the rotation, I did rotate it but it's changed back during the upload process for some reason

I think i will wait a week or so before posting pictures, ordered a obutto r3v some time ago and it is finally on delivery. I used to have some cable management and everything hidden away, but somehow as time goes something needs to be added or removed and so on. Last time i looked under my current desk it was horribad.

I run just over 25TB of storage. I havent had TV service in 10 years so I download everything and stream it to my PS3 and PS4

Im happy with my machine for now. When the GTX 880 Ti comes out Ill build again, demoting my current to server role. By that time Ill switch out my screens for a large 4k screen and the rift.

I just got my X55, so I'm done for a while on the hardware front.

Leviathan here is an i7-2600k @ 3.8 with 8 Gb of ram and a GTX 760. Xbox gamepad, logitech g510s keyboard, random mouse, X55 rhino and logitech G430 headphones for peripherals.

No pics of the internals, as the tower is behind the partition under my desk.

I like it a lot; I swapped the default spring for one lower on the tension scale, and I dialed the throttle tension down to where it's smooth but not loose, and it feels really good in my hands.
Same here, only i'm testing it with the smallest spring, i like my stick loose and dangling. ^^
Bud i did the same for the Trottle tension.
And i really love all those buttons on the Trottle stick... i only wished that they had put the missle launch button on the stick a bit lower (my thumbs aren't that long :P )

All in all, it's a great stick, but then again... my last (joy)stick that i used for simulators and games, is like 15 to 20 years ago, so i can't really compare it with another.

I went from green to blue, so i didn't lower the tension by that much. i was just tired of fighting the stick wanting to hard zero anytime it was near center.
