Concur with Beerjerker. This new generation of little shits needs to be beaten with a stick. Self-entitled little shits. Haha. Also, I'm an 80's kid, born in the 70's, so I may be that hard working generation. But yeah, the kids now (Kids = late teens, and twenty-somethings) think that the world owes them whatever they want. It makes me sick. I've come close to smacking some of them upside the head. Then going to their parents place and smacking them upside the head for raising such an idiot.
/rant.
I love you all. Even if you are a little shit. ;)
EDIT: I'm laughing as I write this. Please don't read it as if I'm raging
Simple rope harness. Don't you guys wear them?
I was born in 81. Kids today piss me off. I'm already a cranky old man at 34.
As a 20-something born and raised in the 90:s, I feel like I should amount some sort of defense...Concur with Beerjerker. This new generation of little shits needs to be beaten with a stick. '78. And yes, cranky would be a good term, when used in reference to my dealings with some. ;)I was born in 81. Kids today piss me off. I'm already a cranky old man at 34.
Haha, amen!
Mr. Matter. I am NOT aiming this at you whatsoever. Nor at kids online/social media. Please don't feel the need to mount a defence (although your points are well taken, and indeed, quite true). As a 20-something born and raised in the 90:s, I feel like I should amount some sort of defense...
The Internet has made ideas spread faster than ever before, making it easier to find things in your country that are handled better in other countries. People then start to ask why their country isn't like the one over there and how to change it to the better (or at least their view of better). Being young and not knowing how to actually change anything, this just comes off as complaining and being entitled.
Social media has also given most people the ability to see into other peoples lives and see how much "hard work" and how much "play" is going on. When poor people see that some people have a lot of money without seeing them do any work, while being told that hard work pays, questions start to form and complaining starts due to feeling cheated.
I'm not saying these are the reasons, or even any of them is A reson for that matter (hehe, I love my name). Everyone got a voice through the internet and some just like to complain whenever their voice can be heard. But this is only my attempt to see logic in what is happening. I don't have any other sources but my own hypothesis and observations.
Wasn't taking it personally, but thanks for the concern. I see how it could sound like I did. :)'78. And yes, cranky would be a good term, when used in reference to my dealings with some. ;)

My comments directly relate to interactions I've had in person. Specific interactions, and observations made by myself while observing what is becoming of today's generation here, in Canada. I won't paint an entire generation, worldwide, with one broad stroke. I'm simply pointing out a trend that I see around me.
I love you all.
Haha, you're an engineer?Wasn't taking it personally, but thanks for the concern. I see how it could sound like I did. :)

Jesus. Good on you. I'm an engineer of blowing shit up. HaTrying to become one at least. :)
Engineer is a bit of a wider term/title in Sweden than it is internationally. You can become what is translated to "High-school engineer" (high school = university that doesn't/isn't allowed to do any science) which is equivalent to a bachelors or a "Civil-engineer" which is a masters degree. I'm aiming for a masters in Nuclear engineering or something similar. :)
