Did I miss the part where they talked about where in the Pipe line it was? Sounds like people are working on parts of it but they oddly didn't do a shipshape "where in the pipe " it is.
They did it for the Hawk, seems odd not to do it for the Hammerhead. I got the sense its in white box/grey box middle ground but /shrug.
P.S. pretty F'n cool, would a Hammerhead or a Polaris win in a fight ?

If the Torpedorito can engage at distance it wins, close-in, it's gonna be an epic slugfest no matter the outcome.
I'd have to look at the specs more carefully, DPS the Hammerhead can dishout vs the Torpedorito's shield capacity compared to the Torpedorito's turrets (which does include the dual Size 5 forward turret). From most angles it looks like the Hammerhead can bring the equivalent of the main batteries of 3 or 4 Connie's, and from ahead it can bring all 24 Size 4 weapons to bear (just say that with me, all 24 size 4 weapons....wow).
I'd give the edge to the Polaris as a true capital ship with Capital class Radar, Armor and Powerplant, but the shields appear to be equal, may just come down to luck.
I'll pay tree-fiddy to see it go down.

Disagree, the Polaris is designed to take on large ships, those torps are killer, if the Polaris can get a torp run in the hammerhead is doomed. The hammerhead on the other side needs to stay away from the torps line of fire, and deal its damage over time. But it will be great when the two work together, the hammerhead will be crazy deadly vs fighters and be able to clear a path for the Polaris to make a deadly run at a large ship.
