If I remember the rules correctly then at most fields there should be a white box that has to be filled (marked) up with paint to symbolize the tank being destroyed. Or just fill the windshield up with paint so the driver can't see lol.

Didn't see the game (started at 2:00 local time) but I know that there is a LOT of hate towards the umpires. Both in this game and the our semifinal against the US. Sweden getting penalties for nothing with some help from divers and the umpires looking the other way during the other teams high-stickings and what not. (Remembering the last SWE-CAN game I saw which included a Canadian player acting like the blade of a stick hit him in the face when it barely got up to his chest and resulted in a SWE penalty... I don't have a hard time seeing a game like this being plagued by dives and unfair calls).
Since I didn't see the game and can't make my own opinion, I will keep my salt to a minimum and just say congratulations.

First and foremost, thank you.

Funny you say that about the Refs though. The game seemed to be called really fairly to me but then, our team did win, so bias does come in to play. And Sweden did score short-handed against Canada. And twice in 38 seconds against the US. I was almost more scared of Sweden getting a penalty them I was Canada, haha.

What I watched, and what all the commentators here in Canada are saying they watched, was one amazing freaking hockey game. It was tight. Really tight. And fast. The game winning goal for Canada did not come on the power-play, and it didn't come until the last 2 minutes of play: 1:38 remaining to be exact. That's how tight the game was. It was hard fought, it was fast paced, and it was fun to watch.

I understand the salt, as I have felt that many many times when things didn't go my team's way. I appreciate it. I really do.

All I can say to you, good Sir, is congrats to your team on an amazing tournament, on holding onto you 44-0 record in round-robin play (Sweden hasn't been beaten in the tournament's round-robin play since 2006 - that's fucking INSANE!), and congrats on an amazing and hard fought game.

Well fought, and Huzzah to Sweden.
