They should rename the retribution to kingslayer. I see it destroying a few kingships in the future. Also a little dissapointed in the f8a... doesnt look like a anvil ship.

Yeah, and I thought it was supposed to be more fighter/less light bomber...
Still looks sweet tho!

Are we 100% positive its th f8a? Or are people guessing.
Positive. I saw a stream Karab was doing for me, he was digging through the files, and the folder specifically said F8. So yes, it's the F8 Lightning.

I understand them not showing new models, but why keep the already released ships hidden. These are ships people bought and should havr been kept up to date on the progress of it.

Yeah, seeing the connie rework that way does make me feel better in keeping my phoenix. Although if they do eventually release a new corvette, it might not last anyway.

It is nothing all too sinister. Ships that enter the hanger have to be interactive, so all the buttons work, doors open, etc, etc. The reworking of the Cutty, Freelancer and Connie, as well as their respected variants, seems to be to the extent that the newer versions are not up to this level, hence why they are in the test build and not in the alpha release.

The Devs can better respond, comment and instruct easier on Foundry's work if the assets are constantly updated in the test build. Gotta remember that most of the heads are in the US, yet when it comes to ships, a lot of the work is done in the UK.

I understand that, i meant many of us had no news that these ships were being changed and they were final design. There was no report that i know of about the connie being totally revamped and inly gints that the freelancer interior was being renovated.

The f8a looks like a gladius, hornet and a elite dangerous ship had a baby that was hit with every ugly gene there was. I dont like it, but thats just my opinion. I hope it grows on me, or has the most effeciejt design there is.

You'll get to fly it in SQ42, so yes, it'll grow on you when it saves your fucking ass from a Vanduul Stinger ten times over without breaking a sweat.
