Fangclaw, I somehow ran across this posting. I hope you don't mind my words. I'm very sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what it would feel like to loose a son. I have two. I did loose my younger brother to lung cancer and my mother to Alzheimer in May and April, respectively, 2015 so I can understand your grief.
