    RSI Meteor

So, a medium fighter with a logout bed? If the bed works, then I'm probably in!

Not sure if I made a mistake

Err, whoops! I was clearly thinking backwards in my Crusader nomenclature, sorry!

Not sure if I made a mistake

So here's my take on this, as another 'generally solo' player. 1.) F8C is useless, no loss there at all IMO. If you want a solo a heavy fighter, I think the MX, Vanguards, and even SuperHornet are all better options, both now AND going forward. 2.) Hercs are in general about the biggest ships...

    Vanguard modules and BUKs

I think this is just called a Sentinel to Harb CCU, with no BUKs needed. I was also under the impression BUKs would essentially let you have a Sent OR a Harb while only having purchased ONE ship, but not that it would allow you to make a bastard mix of the two.

What ship feels the most fun to fly? (in your opinion)

I always keep coming back to the 325a. It's not really great at anything in particular, but it's a nice well-rounded starter with a great interior and boy is that thing FUN to fly!! (And always has been!)

FWIW, I think I've been 100% on returning after bedlogging so far in 4.1. Something like 7-8 times so far and counting!

I'm guessing you can't gift Warbounded UCCs

Yeah you'd need to buy a cheaper ship for real $, ideally with LTI, chain it up to the Polaris, and then sell the LTI CCU-ed Polaris. Doable, but likely you'd rather not bother and just melt for credit.

Mmmm, not sure that's *entirely* true. Back in ~2019 You could have bought say, a $90 CCU from the BMM (was $350 back then) to a $440 Prowler, and if you did wouldn't it still be 'applicable?' Now you'd have had to have spent that $90 in cash on it for it to be giftable, and even in anyone did...

    POLARIS first look!

Same! Doing the Phase 3 Idris fight even with a super-skeleton crew of just 3, was SUPER fun! Took ALL of the torps and still needed help to finish it off, but I still feel like *we* won the overall engagement. Today I got to playing some Ship Tetris and I'm very happy to report that I came up...

    Anvil Paladin Q&A

Yeah, I upvoted some of those comments, this whole Redeemer -> Paladin thing feels truly underhanded, and I'm glad they're getting called out on it!

Well, I managed to keep my spending down to $50 total this year for a few WB CCUs, but pairing those with some existing ones and a LOT of other CCU melting/swapping, I've got things pretty well situated now and I only need $100 for some old LTI buyback tokens to make the full fleet look like...

New Star Citizen concept ship: The Paladin $260

Well you're supposed to considering they just nerfed the FUCK out of the 'Deemer. Dropped from S3 to S2 shields, S5 down to S4 gatlings on the turrets. I *would* have liked the Paladin were it brought in as an 'equivalent' competitor to the Redeemer but this seems awfully heavy-handed...

Need input on a new desk!

Fo sho! Fortunately, the kegerator is just around the corner, so was refilled promptly after the picture was taken!

Need input on a new desk!

Well still waiting on the new Monstertech slider in order to mount my HOTAS, but other than that and a bit more cable-tidy-ing it's in!

    Query on flight modes

Naw, HOTAS absolutely has its place/advantages. All things being equal, I slightly prefer HOSAS when in a small, nimble fighter and HOTAS in larger ships, but honestly if I could only chose one, I'd keep the throttle for sure, for several reasons. Primarily, I find it MUCH more immersive with...
