Hey I was thinking of Melting My explorer LTI package as I want to reset the ship upgrades to do something different the way I view the game has changed over the last few years.

BUT

Given the recent changes to buy backs and melt historic game packages - if I melt it will I lose it???

If the pack contains SQ42, then you'll probably lose it. You still get the store credit from the transaction.
If a pack doesn't contain SQ42, you're *currently* safe. I say currently, but I have lost trust in CIG to do the right thing and let us know beforehand what they're changing.

Same problem here.
I got the "Digital Bountihunter Pack" plus SQ24.
Over the years the Origin 315 evolved into a Phornix Emerald.
However that happened I'm not sure. Had a few drinks at the bar and shortly after I had the keys and the deed in my pocket.
Blimey...
Anyhow, I had the sudden urge to turn the Emerald into a M80.
Much more of a Bounty Hunter wouldn't you say?
Well, thank's CIG for changing the rules a few minutes before unveiling that beauty.
Sigh....:thump:
