There is great wisdom in this.

They "flew" that tank almost like proper TESTies. The only thing they were missing were blood alcohol levels that were double the legal limit.

Perhaps the design & timing of the release of the Nova is meant to be nearly reminiscent of somebody giving the middle finger with the timing being in relation to the Cry-suit. Would be funny if CIG makes more money off of the Nova sales than they end up losing to Cry in the end. Even more...
