    3:10 is live!

From my expiriance given that most ship to ship combat is in space, you can't get behind someone and stay there without them uncoupling and shooting back at you. If you' or them are not closing distance you are both at risk. The dual stick setup pilots are extremely good at this - their ships...

    Dumb luck

So I get in my Starfarer The Murders Child and trek off to pick up some gas to sell to the rubes in Olisar. I used to bugger off across the system to grab some from Ita but that's a waste of time, literally an hour round trip. Used to go to Tram and Myers but that's got too hot these days so...

As far as I can work out if there is an easy limited way and a hard comprehensive way, people will usually choose the easy way because hard is only fun to a hardcore of masochists for whatever that particular thing is. So the easy goes byebye, they get everyone trying it and the feedback. all...

    3:10 is live!

Looks like its making obstacles to make group gameplay. I can see the benefit of this style of targeting for group where one ship higjhlights a target and feeds it to the rest or multi-crew play where one player is sat at the Targeting Station, but for a single player this kind of...

    New GPU’s inbound

Utter. Bullshit. Hey, put the price up to $9,999 like they do on Amazon when they run out of stock but they don't want to admit it.

Yep, when the information was put on a temporary pause and then flat-out dumped with an excuse of "well, it wasn't very reliable anyway because X" pretty much everyone who was paying attention then asked "Then y u no make reliable by fixing X?" with no reply. It was one of the things the...

If I were a belter pirate leader sa sa ke?

Aha, cool. In that case I'd go with the opportunist extortion line: I'd follow them until they ran out of some basic supply (perhaps caused by a semi malicious action by myself) that would mean they'd have to call their expedition short and go back to port if they didn't get some, and then...

    Coronavirus COVID-19 Thread

I think I get what you are saying (I think) and yes I agree with the long term trends thing - when the UK was only testing cases in hospital the positive number to tests conducted number was ridiculously high because they were only testing people who were obviously sick with COVID-19. Long term...

I hear what you are saying, however a similar thing happened in the UK with only hospital cases being tested for months, then medical and key workers, and then not so long ago the general public with anyone who wants a test able to get one. They upped daily testing to 100,000 a day, then...

Those squares? If you are impressed by the size of a mans spreadsheet remember TEST Weapons Research Lab is in possesion of la hoja de cálculo del diablo. Also, I made a spreadsheet last week at work that is 5mb of formulas before I even put any data in it! Bow down before me and worship my...

If I were a belter pirate leader sa sa ke?

Without some kind of goal it's a difficult question to answer. Are you out to extort protection money from the Carrot? Are you out to steal its cargo? Are you out to kidnap the crew? Are you just out to kill the heck out of it? All of the above (and more besides) have little complications...

That would be interesting - Apparently the UK bases its early response on modeling made on viral pneumonia figures, hence all the complacency and just letting it run away with itself so those original numbers compared to what's happened here would be an interesting case study indeed. Not so...

    3.10 looks about ready

I'd just like to be able to use those gas/liquid tanks for cargo running. Instantly more capacity than a Cat, especially if you can compress the gas to liquid form that would get hella huge capacity!
