I don’t have either but agree a Nova might be a good addition to the fleet. I’m not keen on standing around waiting to be attacked, but the tank isn’t limited to that sort of gameplay.

I think the real challenge with that approach is you still die, then something else might get another go. I think the solution would be closer to a meshing where there’s no difference between you and the machine.

I think the biggest leaps will be made by getting intelligent systems (ML or DL) to do the figuring-out part of how memories / personalities are made and stored. Anything which gives the machine greater access to our wetware is going to help in that process.

Ok TrackIR is better than FOIP. Yes you lose the dumb faces, but I’m not looking at myself in-game anyway. In addition to the accuracy, it’s the ability to custom map your input curves that makes the big difference.

It might be time to fire up my TrackIR again...
