That was the thought. Custom NPC's which could be work for you or become your beneficiary when you character croaks. Grain of salt, however. It was one of those ideas that got mentioned, CR said "that sounds cool!" Then the rumor mills started churning, possibly none of it coming from game...

I remember scuttlebutt about if you had more than one game package, you could possibly use it to make your own Chewbacca space waifu (maybe not in those words). Not sure if there was ever any follow up from actual developers though.
