With the net code improvements I expect the server cap to go up 3.1 or 3.2. Given previous development though I don't expect group content for at least another year. SO it is unlikely to be a priority for group join until then.

I read it. You don't announce a release date and miss it. Not by months. You don't delay a release of an alpha or beta to polish the UI or to add more features. You don't announce a major convention and show up empty handed. Your excuse for this is they are amateurs and treat this as a hobby...

When you announce a release schedule that is a deadline, whether you use the word or not. When you go to a convention like GamesCon and you don't have a release, especially when you said last time at that convention, you would have one, then you have missed a deadline even though you never used...

Remember, this is a deadline they set, missed, reset, missed and reset. Nobody forced them to set these deadlines. Nobody forced them to keep adding features to try to get them into 3.0, right up until the original Evocati release date, and they are still adding features. That is feature...

This is feature creep and poor management. You don't miss major release dates for polish. You roll back what isn't ready, which is why you have code repositories, and release. Then you release the next build when it is ready, which should be soon after. They do not release often enough for Alpha...
