Depends a little bit, but thinking about upgrading starfarer to gemini and/or getting rid of my MIS.
But i'm also curios about the X'ian Cargo ship (~300 SCU). So i might end up not changing anything.
Actually yes those post containing cheats, exploits etc. get deleted. (happend to me because i wanted to create awareness to a certain topic)
Usally with recommendation to make a report to the support.
I'm getting very mixed signals from you.
My point is if SQ42 isn't going to happen by Q4 2021 either CIG deliberatly lied to us in bad faith or they are incompetent of communicating any realistic goal. And honestly i see no excuses anymore.
icashe has never been communicated (as far as i'm...
Be honest when the roadmap stated Q3/2020 Beta did you really expected it will be done by Q4/2020 ?
I expected 6 month beta and bugfixing + minor delay -> Q2/2021
And that "I" would really start worrying when it comes later than Q4/2021.
meanwhile edited the post above ^^
We have seen many delays, there a lot of good reasons why there have been delays. I never expected SQ42 this year (since the roadmap stated it)
But it really is time to deliver what has been promised.
soon™
i expected Q2/2021
Honestly i would start worrying if they release it beyond Q4 2021.
And since around 30-50% of our pledge goes into SQ42, even if there are shared assets, we as stake holders should keep on putting pressure on CIG.
I backed for both games. I want a great single player...
I guess this is the part of the discussion where we need a lot more clarification from CIG how they're intended design is.
I guess we agree that agent smithing needs
- restrictions and limitation on what the Player can do with the NPC
- a ruleset for criminal and griefing actions
which could be an agent smithed NPC unless let me quote myself
what prevents a player to hop into NPC and be the captain trillion kilometres away?
because its a perfect tool (if unlimited) for griefers who don't want their main char to die. Or make him deal with the reputation hit. Or go...
Death of the spacemen means (to me) that you're attached to your character and you want to prevent him dying. Dying should be a big deal and not something you "shrug away" like in most video games.
If you can agent smith into an NPC your character can sit at home while jumping into disposable...
What Szioul said.
If you can wait wait a little longer (1-2 months) -> i would wait.
Even if Intel / Nvidia is still your goto CPU its probably going to be cheaper to stay competetive against AMD. (If AMD Marketing hasn't betrayed us).

My personal stance is that agent smithing shows their inability to create a proper AI and therefore is a proof that this game is a Scam.
XOXO Derek
honestly i'm fine with agent smithing,
in lets say 1 km range,
just to troubleshoot NPC or move them to a position. Everything else might...
Its simple a light fighter can easily take out a heavy fighter. It is way more agile and can stay in the blind spots of the ship. So a heavy fighter will have a hard time against a light fighter. The light fighter will have a hard time beating a large ship with its super strong shields (which...
