I've been wondering if they could be pilot controlled limited motion frontal unless you have remote gunners in the seats, then they are turrets with full range of motion? Wouldn't that make the 'lancer just the most fun little gunship, 3x turrets and the pilot concentrating on missile...

I took a look inside when it was launched. I love the chess set, I dislike the number of barriers to get to the pilot seat. Because of that inconvenience I'd not choose it as a ride no matter how capable it is. While the Starfarer is similar it has the excuse of being the size of an office block...
