Unfortunately, until the game gets a player-driven economy or some other good social aspects, it will flounder on my desktop. I just can't invest a ton of time in it doing the same things over and over for no reason... Too bad really, as it's a beautiful game.

My fear with the Carrack came down to hardpoint locations and all those blindspots. For a big ship to be that under-gunned was worrisome, so I chose a Connie. Can always earn that cash back to a big ship later on in the verse anyhow.

Few thoughts after reading the above replies - 1- External visuals on a helmet in this "age" will be largely useless. A heads up display on the visor showing squad stats would be much better. Squad / unit info along a column left or right of center would work fine. This type of data...

Don't worry about a new channel, just shorten your name and append it to your stream titles. Like "Oka" or whatever you go by. People get used to truncating names on there anyhow. Just a suggestion to avoid the hassle of starting over.

You would be best off to get a bot going on your channel to help manage your chat panel, etc. I use Deepbot, but it takes a monthly subscription to get some of the donation and follow alerts to pop up graphics and other neat stuff. By far the most advanced of the bots available. There are others...
