Yeah. That said, it was originally sold as "Exploration/Combat" and the brochure literally shows the Corsair 'assaulting a station'. I like to think it's going to be a straight rat ship, the devs said there is nothing special about the ships scanners. How does it fill the role of a true explorer?

For Connie I'd likely get the Phoenix at IAE (was there last year anyhow) so that could serve as a multirole VIP mission boat. Only thing about doing that is it eats deeper into the credits, so that would restrict other ships. Could grab it and the MSR though, both would be more useful to me...

So, in your mind, does the Connie, MSR and Corsair work well together, or do a pair cancel each other out? MSR is a data/hauler to my knowledge and I doubt the Corsair will hang with it in speed or data.

Yeah, part of my core fleet is definitely the Starliner and the Corsair. I only worry that having a Connie will overlap with the Corsair too much.

How do they not? The MSR is cargo + data/smuggling, the sentinel is a combat ship, Apollo doesn't really fit in with anything but med gameplay is on the way and surely it'll make some form of profit. I mentioned transports, trade, some combat.

Passenger transport, some combat but not tons of it, trade and some exploration. Don't have much interest in mining, refining, etc. Who knows down the line though, when they add more systems in! I'm just going off experience in other space games, x series, elite etc.

I really like the Raft, I think it's a great looking boat and will definitely have one at some point for a shuttle. The Hull A seems nice, but I personally will shoot for the B or C.

I'm going to hold onto it in hopes of it truly being a pirate ship. I want a rat ship and an exploration vessel. The Corsair was never, to me, an exploration vehicle and when I bought it I swear it was exploration/combat, now it's exploration/exploration.

Who knows what it'll be in the end though? If I melt it and the price goes up, it will stay at the purchase price in buyback correct? I'm thinking of rolling with the 600i, though I have a Corsair and worry there will be too much overlap there, both explorers, though one will have a medbay and...

Primary reason for the Defender would be the functionality with the BMM and the fact that I've got one with either lti or 10 year in the buy back. I think it's getting looked at for a touch up too, but that could be me misremembering.
